We will hear and say ‘Happy New Year’ frequently at the moment of year – but rarely do we consider what it really means to us, as well as the men and women to whom we say it.
Many of us are unique individuals with our very own unique needs and desires; and most of us are united inside our quest for the same thing – to feel Happy New Year 2020 Images. We are all striving for this particular state of ‘happiness’; but so many people are looking within the wrong spot for it – and settling for a temporary mood-enhancer by means of alcohol, drugs, a brand new relationship, or new possessions.
Magazines are now packed with ‘New Year New You’ advice from so-called experts – the majority of that is just plain common sense! No one else will be the expert for you! Only you know – or are attempting to pin-down – what brings you personal happiness. One person’s happiness is another person’s burden.
In the event you now consider what actually brings people happiness it might range from finding shelter and food; to getting a make-over/fake-tan/fake-nails etc., buying new ‘toys/gadgets’, right right through to showing love, care and compassion to others. As broad a spectrum as it is noticed in general society.
Happiness to suit your needs depends upon your own level of personal and spiritual awareness, along with your ability to create happiness being a state of mind that you simply can come back to at will – despite life’s relentless disappointments and challenges.
It is not enough to simply ‘think’ or ‘imagine’ yourself to be happy – you can’t fool yourself that easily!
What the majority of us don’t realise is the fact we have now two mind-sets about everything in life, and these two minds can be at odds with one another. This conflict can are the levels of happiness our company is ‘allowed’ to experience.
Our conscious/rational/observing mind can desire and seek greater happiness; but if our sub-conscious mind doesn’t believe that we deserve it, or we would benefit from it – this just isn’t going to come our way. Our outer lives are merely ever a reflection of our own inner and deeper sub-conscious belief system. Self-help books and talking therapies do not access or change these deeper ‘Script’ beliefs.
Being around happy, optimistic, warm and friendly people positively affects us too – as does the exact opposite. This is known as ‘Emotional Contagion’ – which is worth reflecting upon what ‘mood’ or ‘energy’ we ourselves hand out that in turn affects those around us.
We have neurons inside our brains called Mirror Neurons which can create in us the emotion we are witnessing outside us. For instance if we see someone stub their toe or trap their finger, we have been instinctively developed to feel something similar. This connection goes beyond mere ’empathy’, or of recalling personal memories of comparable things having happened to us before. We are significantly affected by being around Merry Christmas 2019 Wishes, whose emotions we then ‘mirror’ in ourselves.
Don’t however be fooled by a ‘happy mask’ that someone may be wearing; which is a false-self they present around the world as an attempt to hide their real feelings and needs. This may well have been set up in childhood if it was encouraged and expected that they ‘put-on-a-happy face’ for your family’s sake; and also to stuff down their real feelings like anger, resentment, disappointment, fear, sadness and despair – which had been real, but ‘unacceptable’ through the family/care-giver.
Lots of people are so accustomed to wearing a mask they cannot imagine an existence without this, or how to get it off! Their eyes will usually offer the game away regarding their underlying feelings, as will an unguarded moment and comment, if another individual is sensitive enough to observe these ‘slips’.
Everyone has a ‘base-line’ amount of happiness at virtually any stage inside our lives – that is formed from the past experiences and the meaning we gave to them; and of course the effects these have had upon our sub-conscious mind as well as the ‘program’ our company is running.
This base-line represents only 40% from the full level of happiness we are capable of experiencing at the present time. Another 10% can come from the external ‘lucky’ events like the lottery win; or even a big new purchase; or kkywim cosmetic plastic surgery etc. These ‘highs’ are unfortunately only temporary so we soon go back to our base level yet again.
The particular great news though would be that the remaining 40% of happiness available to you – is derived from YOU! This is scientifically validated and forms a central part of Positive Psychology.
There are 12 means of facilitating more happiness from your own actions and thoughts, and also by the releasing your very own blockages. A few of these ways include figuring out how to develop a more optimistic and focused strategy to life; to maintain your healthy mind and spirit, and allowing gratitude and forgiveness to you. These sound simple however are profound and life-changing. Enhancing your overall, and sustained, happiness positively effects every cell within your body and consequently your genetic expression (Epi-genetics); and therefore your lifespan.
Deeper and sustained Happiness equates to some calmness of the mind… observing what is, and not forcing change… reflecting, surrendering and allowing; as opposed to worrying, over-thinking and mind-chatter. To see the Happy New Year 2020 Messages in each and every tiny moment rather than only focusing in front of the present time; or dwelling in the unchangeable past. The only time you really have is this moment and the next breath. Take full advantage of these whilst you still need them.
